How do you gather supplies for diabetics?
We gather supplies in 2 ways.
The majority of our supplies come from 100% of our donations! Every dollar donated makes a huge difference. Donate to our Go Fund Me page here.
The other way we get supplies is through community outreach programs with healthcare facilities, gathering collected supplies that would otherwise go to waste because they are no longer needed.
We also collect supplies from anyone that reaches out to us directly!

What types of supplies are you collecting and sending to patients in need?
We collect and send out a wide variety of supplies heavy in demand! This includes but is not limited to:
Glucose meters
Test strips
Lancets
Syringes
Pumps
Pump supplies
Alcohol prep pads
Insulin

What can I do to help Shea Saves accomplish this mission?
Firstly, every share on social or conversation about what we do with family and friends makes a huge difference! It is important that we all get the word out there on the current reality of life with diabetes.
Another way to help is volunteering! We have a lot on our plate if we are going to address and impact this issue. There are tons of places with the potential to collect supplies. We just need a great team to continue to grow, reaching out to every single place that could help us fulfill our mission. We have planned programs to make this outreach job very simple and effective.

Next, every dollar donated counts! 100% of these donations go directly towards purchasing the supplies that are most heavily in demand. Rest assured that someone in need will be using supplies that YOU purchased to keep them alive. Donate to our Go Fund Me page here.
Lastly, any partnership, sponsorship, or sponsored event will be a very beneficial way for us to raise community awareness and support. Organized events with Shea Saves would not only be a great time celebrating Shea’s life, but also an amazing way to honor her loss through community awareness.
